Xiaomi Philippines has officially launched the Mi 9 in the Philippines. The all-new Xiaomi Mi 9 features AI triple camera, the latest Snapdragon 855 processor, and the world’s first 20W wireless charging.
The Mi 9 comes powered by the next-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, which is based on the 7nm manufacturing process. This handset scored over 380,000 benchmark on AnTuTu. In addition, the new Xiaomi phone boasts a 2.84GHz Kyro 485 CPU, Adreno 640 GPU, and LPDDR4x 2133MHz RAM.
Design-wise, the Xiaomi Mi 9 flaunts an all-curved back cover with a stylish holographic rainbow spectrum. In front is a 6.39-inch Samsung AMOLED Dot Drop display with in-screen fingerprint sensor.
This Xiaomi flagship device is also the first to tout an AI triple camera with new photo modes. This setup includes: a 48MP Sony IMX586 1/2″ main sensor; a 16MP ultra wide-angle camera; and a 12MP telephoto lens. The rear camera system got a score of 107 for photos from DxOMark website, earning the third place world ranking of all its tested smartphones. The mobile device also earned 99 points for video, landing on the top of the list for video recording.

The Mi 9 also features 3300mAh battery with fast wired and wireless charging. The 27W wired charging supports Qualcomm QC4+ standard, enabling it to charge to 70% in just 30 minutes and 100% in 60 minutes. This device also boasts the world’s first 20W wireless charging feature.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 comes in Piano Black, Ocean Blue, and Lavander Violet. The retail prices are at P22,990 for the 6GB + 64GB, and P24,990 for the 6GB + 128GB. The Mi 9 can be purchased on Mi Authorized Stores beginning March 30, 2019, and will soon be available on Lazada.
