China’s rising star, Xiaomi, has just launched the Mi 4i in the Philippines. Officially priced at Php 9,799, the latest Xiaomi flagship smartphone will be available online via Lazada PH starting July 29. Xiaomi has also inked an exclusive partnership with Smart, the country’s largest mobile network in offering the Mi 4i through Surf Plus postpaid plans.
First launched in India last April, the Mi 4i features a 5-inch FHD display with a pixel density of 441 PPI. Powering the ultra-compact flagship smartphone is a 2nd gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 1.7 GHz 64-bit octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage. It has a 13MP f/2.0 rear camera and 5MP front camera with an 80-degree wide angle lens for selfies. It also features 4G dual SIM, dual standby slots and a 3120mAh battery promising up to 1.5 days of normal usage. The Mi4i comes with the latest MIUI 6 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
Xiaomi will initially be offering its latest flagship smartphone in Dark Gray.
