Although Xiaomi has a lot of offerings on its portfolio, the company is mostly known in the local scene for having a set competitively priced smartphones, and high-quality yet affordable powerbanks.
After launching the Mi 4S and Mi 5, both of which have USB Type C port, it only makes sense for Xiaomi to come up with a new accessories to complement their new handsets.
Hence the announcement of the new 10,000mAh Mi powerbank which inherits the slim and chic design of the past models, but instead of a typical microUSB port, it’s equipped with a new USB Type-C port and cable.
According to Xiaomi’s website, at its full capacity, the new 10,000mAh Mi powerbank can fully charge a Xiaomi Mi Note for 2.5 times, an iPhone 6 four up to times, and can recharge an iPad Mini for 1.5 times.
The new Xiaomi Mi 10,000mAh powerbank is now available in China for RMB 149. Currently, there is no information if the powerbank will ship outside of Xiaomi’s home turf.
