Pre-order for each model starts on September 22.
Microsoft reveals an eventful pre-holiday segue this year; the X Box Series X and X Box Series S are set to launch on November 10, with pre-order starting as early as September 22. So, what can we expect from these next gen powerhouse of gaming consoles?
For one, the Xbox Series X will run on a custom Zen 2 eight-core processor running at 3.8GHz with 12 TFLOPs of RDNA 2 graphics. It will also run games in 4K resolution (120fps), and comes with 16GB of DDR6 RAM and 1TB internal SSD.
Meanwhile, the Xbox Series S is the more affordable all-digital console with 4 TFLOPs of graphical power that will run at 120fps as well. It features a 10GB GDDR6 RAM and 512GB SSD along with a 4K video playback feature.
As for the pricing and availability, the Xbox Series X retails for $499 (P24, 228) while the Xbox Series S is $299 (P14,517). No official word on its availability in the PH yet, but both models are confirmed to launch on November 10, 2020.
