Vivo introduces a new level-entry device that is stylish and powerful at the same time. Meet the Vivo Y20i, which features a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 5000mAh battery, 6.51-inch display, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Y20i is now available at a price of P7,499. Interested buyers can go to the official Vivo Shopee store and the official Vivo Lazada store to purchase online. They can also visit Vivo concept stores, exhibits, kiosks, and multi-brand stores nationwide.

Design & Construction
The Y20i arrives with a 2.5D body. It is light, ergonomic, and fits snuggly in the hands. Users can choose between these eye-popping colors: Dawn White that is inspired by soft morning horizons and Nebula Blue that is inspired by the deep universe.
The glossy rear is only interrupted by the vertically stacked rear cameras and tiny Vivo logo–all on the left side of the device. The screen in front is massive with slim bezels and a teardrop notch. At the bottom are the 3.5mm audio jack, microUSB port, and the loudspeakers. The SIM card slot is on the left side of the device. On the right side are the volume rocker and the power button, which is also the fingerprint scanner.
A clever design, the side-mounted fingerprint scanner is more accessible and makes the phone easier to unlock. The scanner can recognize your fingerprint in only 0.22 seconds.
Display & Multimedia
The Vivo Y20i flaunts a 6.51-inch Halo FullView IPS display. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio and HD + (1600 x 720) resolution. For safer viewing, this phone comes with Eye Protection Mode to filter out harmful blue light.
The Y20i runs on FunTouch OS 10.5 based on Android 10. To boost the phone’s performance, it has a Multi-Turbo 3.0 function with Center Turbo. An AI Turbo, on the other hand, predicts and resolves system abnormalities before they happen. There’s also the Ultra Game Mode that provides 4D Game Vibration 2.0 for realistic gameplay.
Camera
Vivo equipped the Y20i with an AI Dual Bokeh camera. It offers a wide range of features, including Face Beauty, Portrait Light Effects, and Selfie Filters. The main camera has a 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 large aperture and PDAF technology. The other cameras are a 2MP Bokeh lens and a 2MP macro shooter that delivers better portrait shots.
In front is an 8MP shooter to take care fo your selfies and groufies. It has an f/1.8 aperture.
Performance
The Vivo Y20i features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor under the hood. It is paired with an Adreno 610 GPU. It also comes equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The latter can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD.
For all-day power, this smartphone uses a 5000mAh TYP super-capacity battery. It has AI power-saving technology, allowing 16 hours of online HD watching in a single full charge. It also comes with 18W fast-charging support. Moreover, the phone has a reverse charging feature so users can juice up their other devices.
