The Vivo NEX 3 is launching today with beastly hardware to boot. Here are some of the top features of this flagship phone.
The company’s newest device is the first flagship to officially arrive in the country after the NEX and NEX Dual Screen phones in China. With that, it’s exciting to see what they have to bring in the flagship smartphone category. Here are five of the top features this phone possesses.
Seamless display for more immersive viewing
Smartphones nowadays improve on their displays, and the NEX 3 does not disappoint. It’s one of the first phones to sport an AMOLED Waterfall FullView screen that stretches and curves the smartphone screen along its sides. That provides the user with a more borderless view and a better viewing experience for gaming and multimedia. They also tout an improved 99.6% screen-to-body ratio with a notch-free display.
With such a display, Vivo did some design changes and improved features for a better experience. This includes hiding the physical power and volume buttons from sight. In effect, this created a more seamless, touch-controlled unibody design. Touch Sense, assisted with an X-axis Haptic Vibration motor, can respond with haptic feedback. This, in turn, delivers a tangible, comfortable and futuristic experience. As with other Vivo phones, an improved in-Display Fingerprint Scanner secures the device and other apps you choose to keep private.

More cameras, more fun
The device flexes an array of cameras with a 64-megapixel main, 13MP wide-angle and 13MP super macro cameras. This enables the user to take photos no matter how far or close they want it to be.
The NEX series is the first to sport pop-up cameras in the world, and they continue with this device. A 16-megapixel selfie camera shows up only at times you need it, eliminating the use of display notches. A purpose-fit motor and customized gearbox ensure long-lasting smooth elevation.
Unprecedented performance
This new Vivo flagship has a Snapdragon 855 Plus with 2.9GHz Octa-core processor on board. With Qualcomm’s first 5G solution and UFS 3.0 high-speed flash memory, the NEX 3 provides top computing performance. It can also do ultra-high download speeds (over 1Gbps), ultra-low latency and robust network reliability. The dual WLAN Acceleration technology uses two Wi-Fi signal networks at the same time to boost network speed for smoother use.

More than just power
A 4500mAh battery gives NEX users the fuel to go through their day. Despite the big battery capacity, Vivo added a 44W Super FlashCharge and C-DRX power-saving technologies. This ensures more power than can last more than a day.
Meanwhile, a Vapor Chamber Cooling System meanwhile supplies power while remaining cool even with heavy 5G usage. The NEX also features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, NFC, and supports global frequency bands.
Beyond artificial intelligence
Vivo’s AI assistant, Jovi, has been upgraded to enable a fully intelligent flagship experience based on the Vivo Computation Acceleration Platform (VCAP). The platform offers AI algorithms for software optimization and enhanced user habit learning for deeper AI integration – providing an impressive speed boost with a personalized experience.
The Vivo NEX 3 is going to be available for Php 39,999 in Vivo stores and authorized dealers.
