Ranking first solidifies Vivo at the top of the competitive global smartphone game.
More than half into the year of 2020 have been an auspicious journey for Vivo. According to Canalys’ April-June report, Vivo ranked first as the top smartphone vendor in the Philippines in Q2 2020 with over 21% market share. The brand even came close at last year’s report trailing in at second place.
Vivo isn’t one to shy away from competition as evidenced by the brand’s consistent year-on-year growth (159% growth in 2019) and aggressive marketing strategies. Moreover, Vivo was able to launch its flagship series, the V19 and V19 Neo, despite the pandemic.
With only four months left in the year, who’s to say where Vivo will rank next? The brand continues to reel in positive response from the public now more than ever since its launch of the much anticipated X series line.
