Financial service group KGI Securities analyst Ming Ching Kuo recently reported that Apple will be unveiling the new generation of iPhone models in a variety of colors aside from their standard iPhone hues.
The upcoming 6.5-inch OLED iPhone model will come in colors of black, white, and a new hue of gold. Aside from this, Kuo also said that the 6.5-inch OLED iPhone model will most likely be priced at around USD 1,000, roughly the same price of the current iPhone X model. The 6.5-inch OLED iPhone model is also speculated to be capable of carrying two SIM cards.
The 6.1-inch LCD iPhone model which should have a price tag of around USD 700 is rumored to have a price of around USD 700. This model will have a number of color choices to choose from which include grey, white, blue, red, and orange. Apple’s choice of having bright color options is said to have the upcoming iPhone models appeal to younger consumers.
Due to a competitive price tag and new colors to choose from, Kuo believes that the upcoming iPhone models will pose good sales, with the LCD iPhone to have 55% of sales upon the unveiling of the new iPhone models.
Kuo also sees a significant growth for Apple in terms of its year-over-year iPhone shipments which he accounts to about 70 million iPhone models expected to be sold when the fourth quarter of this year comes.
