Earlier today, Ubisoft Entertainment has announced that it will open its 30th production studio in the Philippines in Santa Rosa, Laguna during the second quarter of this year.
The company’s new production studio will be situated inside the De La Salle University in Santa Rosa, Laguna and will serve as the office of the pioneer employees that will be hired by the renowned game developer in 2016.
According to Chip Go, Studio Manager of Ubisoft Philippines, the company will be hiring 50 new team members this year alone which will consist of project managers, programmers, designers, and artists just to name a few.
Mr. Go also said that the company is also planning to bring in their seasoned veterans from Ubisoft Singapore to share their expertise with the young bloods of Ubisoft Philippines. Eventually, the two studios will collaborate with each other to take on upcoming projects by Ubisoft.
