If the Torque Droidz Atom reminded us of the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, its bigger brother, the Torque Droidz Blast also has a striking resemblance to the Samsung Galaxy S3.
The Torque Droidz Blast at first looked like the Galaxy Note II but it has a 4.7-inch qHD (960 x 540) screen which is just a wee bit smaller than the screen on the Galaxy S3, which has a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display.
One thing’s for sure though is that it looks eerily like the white Samsung Galaxy S3 with the curved corners, chrome sides, and that familiar-looking Home button. For the untrained eye, you won’t notice the subtle difference on the front sensor/cam placement and the glossy back panel.
This phone is slated for a January 2013 release so don’t mind the stickered Torque brand.
Running the show on the Torque Droidz Blast is a 1GHz dual-core processor and 512MB RAM. It has a 4GB internal storage with support for up to 32GB microSD. The back has an 8-megapixel camera with flash while the front sports a VGA one.
It does run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean though so it should slightly help the performance of dual-core processor on this one. It’s also a dual-SIM phone so it should appeal to most Filipinos.
What’s intriguing with this phone is that its equipped with a TV antenna. At first we thought it was a stylus but pulling it further revealed that it’s an antenna. That’s uhhh unique.
No official pricing for this Droidz Blast yet but Torque execs hinted that none of their upcoming dual-core, dual-SIM phones will go past the P10k mark. If I’m to guess it’s probably going to be around P6k to 7k.

What is the retail price?
Pakibasa na lang po yung last paragraph.
boss calvin.. ilan battery capacity nito?
have to ask pa, it’s not in the specs sheet but dont expect that 4000mAh one. manipis lang and magaan ang phone.
Nice phones but I prefer 1 GB RAM.
mukhang tinitipid talaga nila..ayos na sana, bitin sa ram.
512mb ram pero jellybean?
di ba requirement sa jb e 1gb ram?
as usual below 2000 mah yah.. >.<
would you know the OEM of Torque Blast and Torque Motion…just interested to know if may mga review din from their OEM..
not really sure if it’s OEM. from what was explained to us by Torque, they chose a template for the phones and mix and match the parts to suit the design they want.
sir available na po ba ito sa market? pwede po ba itong idowngrade sa lower version ng OS since di po ito compatible sa JB? I believe 1gb ang RAM ng JB. Tnx
what if the Samsung file a suit against Torque?
is Torque was given a permission to copy Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy Note II?
is Torque knows the importance of copyright?
there are 8 points of difference to avoid such copyright issues
*does Torque knows the importance of copyright?
