1. First Nikon dSLR camera to feature a minimum standard sensitivity of ISO 64
The D810 is the first digital SLR camera in Nikon’s history to feature a minimum standard sensitivity of ISO 64. The EXPEED 4 image-processing engine similar to the D4S provides wider standard sensitivities up to ISO 12800.
2. Advanced Flat Picture system for image processing
The Nikon D810 has a new “Flat” Picture Control option providing less in-camera processing to images and preventing loss of detail in highlights and shadows, as well as over-saturation of colors.
3. Extremely precise 51-point AF system and superior vibration suppression
The D810 has an extremely precise 51-point AF system accomplished by its Advanced Multi-CAM 3500FX autofocus sensor module and improvements to the focusing algorithm.
4. High-speed continuous shooting
The D810 delivers high-speed continuous shooting at approximately 5 fps in FX format and approximately 7 fps in DX format made possible by its new CMOS sensor and EXPEED 4 image-processing engine.
5. Full-HD 60p video recording
The D810 is capable of recording Full-HD 60p videos. Moreover, the D810 offers improved movie sound quality with “Wind noise reduction” and “Frequency response” (“Wide range”/”Vocal range”) settings. It is also the First Nikon FX-format camera with an OLED viewfinder display.
