Lenovo ThinkPad celebrated its 25th anniversary in Yamato Labs, Yokohama, Japan, by announcing a limited-release, retro-themed ThinkPad Anniversary Edition 25. Not only that, but the anniversary version will still tout Lenovo’s high-tech engineering.
This 2017, Lenovo will produce a limited-edition ThinkPad model to celebrate its 25th year of creating computing innovations. Dubbed the ThinkPad Anniversary Edition 25, it will feature iconic capabilities like a backlit 7-row ThinkPad Classic keyboard and a multi-color logo. However, most of these throwbacks will be cosmetic, so no need to wonder if you’re getting a top-of-the-line Lenovo creation.
To prove this, Lenovo confirmed that the anniversary edition will come equipped with an Intel Core i7-7500U processor, and NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics. Additionally, the screen will measure at 14 inches full HD, and allow for touch controls.
