Updated: Vivo V5s Review
Vivo Philippines earlier announced the availability of the Vivo V5s in the country. Priced at Php 14,990, the Vivo V5s is a follow-up to the Vivo V5 and the 5.5-inch V5 Plus, Vivo’s selfie-centric smartphones both sporting 20MP front cameras.
Vivo V5s a Step above the V5
A quick look at the specs sheet might confuse users with the similarities between the V5 and the V5s. They both have a 5.5 inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS display. Under the hood they have a 1.5 GHz octacore processor paired with 4GB of RAM. On top of that, they share the same top notch 20 MP selfie camera and the 13MP rear shooter.
However, the v5s does come with a higher internal storage at 64GB. Even though they are similar in specs, the design is the biggest change between the two. More sleek looking, the V5s has a metallic back panel that is just one smooth area. With the antenna bands gone, the V5s now looks more classy and chic.
