You have to give it to Sony for coming up with funky, colorful designs on their VAIO laptops. Now with the new Sony VAIO C, they took it one step further by introducing a laptop that kind of glows in the dark.
The Sony VAIO C is a 14-inch laptop sporting vivid colors and uses light-emitting materials on its lid and palmrest that when used in the dark, you would get a cool glow from it. This unique material absorbs and emit back light in different wavelengths which shines through the edges of the laptop. And with the psychedelic colors the VAIO C can come with, you don’t want to be using this with the lights on.
So yeah, it looks really nice and all but can it perform? You bet! It has the next-generation Intel Core i5-2410M 2.3GHz processor with discrete AMD Radeon HD 6630M graphics that you can switch off for basic tasks to save power. Aside from that, this baby packs USB 3.0 ports, 3D-supported HDMI out to display 3D content on a 3D TV and an Exmor-powered HD web camera. It is as powerful as it is brilliant.
The Sony VAIO C will have a price tag of Php69,999 when it becomes available this April which by then, the Sandy Bridge chipset issue will be resolved. It comes in Green, Pink, Orange, White and Black and you can get matching keyboard skin accessory for it as well.
