Samsung hit a snag last year when one of their flagships, Samsung Galaxy Note 7, became a safety hazard. Last September 2016, Samsung informally recalled the Note 7, suspending its sales worldwide. However, Samsung continued to develop the device. Now, months removed from the fiasco, it will be back. This new version is called Galaxy Note 7 FE or Fan Edition.
Sources say that more than anything, the battery will be smaller with this new Note 7. This is seen as a good step as the bigger battery capacity was one of the reasons the original was recalled. Other than that, specs are said to be the same. Despite being 10 months old, the original specs are still considered as solid performers and should not be a problem.
Another question with the Note 7 FE is that of its price. According to androidauthority.com the device will probably fall in the $600 range, more specifically $616. With the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 set to be unveiled soon, it is interesting to see how anything related to the Note 7 will affect the incoming flagship phablet.
