The PlayStation Phone was leaked by Engadget a couple of months ago along with a mockup design. Now, they had photos of the real thing. If you’re looking for a gaming smartphone, it can’t get any better than the upcoming PlayStation Phone.
The PlayStation Phone will have the Android OS, presumably 3.0 which is Gingerbread and instead of a slideout keyboard, it will have a slideout gamepad instead. The gamepad will have the typical D-pad and PS buttons as well as a multi-touch area.
According to Engadget, the PS Phone will be sporting a 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM and support for microSD. No word on the display type for its big screen (around 3.7″ to 4.1″) but it will really look good if it will have even just an AMOLED screen.
No word yet if it will be ready in time for the holidays but we can be sure to expect it by 2011.

The PlayStation Portable (PSP) is slowly getting weak, do you think integrating it into a phone is a great move for Sony?
