When looking at gaming desktops, HP won’t probably the first brand that would pop into your mind. However, they’re planning to change that with their flagship gaming PC, the HPE h9 Phoenix, which features Intel’s 3rd generation Core i5 processor.
The HPE h9 Phoenix looks like your average gaming desktop but upon closer inspection, you would admire the simple yet elegant design of the chassis with hints of red LED emanating from it.
On top are some easy access ports for your headset and a USB device. There’s also a slide down area in the middle for your memory cards and four more USB ports. The chassis itself provides enough ventilation and a liquid-cooling system to keep your machine cool even after long hours of gaming.
Powering the HP Phoenix is a 3rd generation Intel Core i5-3570K “œunlocked” processor which is ready-made for overclocking. This PC is can support up to 16GB DDR3-1600 memory, has a Radeon HD 7770 graphics card with 2GB DDR5 memory and 3rd gen PCI-Express slots.
You’ll get 1TB SATA hard drive on the Phoenix and just like its laptop, you’ll also get a high-def 7.1 Beats audio system for that extra “œboom” when playing your games. This rig also comes with a 23-inch HP 2311gt 3D monitor two passive 3D glasses which should complete your 3D viewing/gaming needs.
The HPE h9 Phoenix is already available at all HP partner stores and resellers nationwide for a cool Php74,990.
