If you’re thinking that your mouse is too plain for your eccentric taste then the Genius Ring Mouse may just be what you need.
This innovative (or silly) input device slips into your finger and you operate the optical trackpad, which is similar to ones found in BlackBerry smartphones, with your thumb. The left and right click keys are located below the trackpad and is also pressed with the thumb meaning you can’t perform drag and drop using one hand.
The Genius Mouse Ring uses a USB interface and communicates via radio waves with its receiver with a range of up to 10 meters. It uses a rechargeable Li-ion battery and comes with a portable charger.
Now I can’t seem to find a practical solution for this mouse ring. Obviously you won’t be editing photos with this one. Could it be a fashionable presenter mouse? Or a mouse to control your IV drip? I think this would go with set-top boxes to navigate through your media interface at the comfort of your couch without the need of wires nor a flat surface.
I would bow down to the person who can use this ring mouse to compete in Starcraft tournaments.
This Genius Ring Mouse retails for Php2,495.
