The 8th-gen iPad arrives with the A12 Bionic chip, boasting 40 percent faster CPU performance and twice the graphics capability. The A12 Bionic comes with the Neural Engine, featuring people occlusion and motion tracking in AR apps. Additionally, the processor provides enhanced photo-editing, better Siri performance, and more. This new model also supports gigabit-class LTE connectivity, Touch ID, and all-day battery life.
Like the all-new iPad Air, the new Apple iPad arrives with the all-new iPadOS 14, which takes advantage of the device’s large Multi-Touch display and versatile accessories. The latest iPadOS also integrates with the Apple Pencil.
