TCL has recently formed a partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the TCL PH Headquarters. The brand has donated its newest AAT Inverter+ Refrigerators and training supplies to TESDA Technology Institution (TTI) Beneficiaries in the National Capital Region.
With their partnership occurring at the same time as the celebration of Nutrition Month last July, it aimed to help TESDA’s training about food processing and domestic work programs. Seven of TESDA’s Technology Institutions received the donation – these institutions being the TESDA NavotaAs Training Institute (TNTI), TESDA Manila Training and Assessment Center (TMTAC), TESDA PAMAMARISAN Training and Assessment Center (TPTAC), TESDA Pasay-Makati District Training and Assessment Center (PMDTAC), Quezon City Lingkod Bayan Skills Development Center (QCLBSDC), MUNTIPARLASTAPAT District Training and Assessment Center (MDTAC), and TESDA-NCR Regional Training Center (TESDA-NCR RTC).
TESDA Manila District Director Niña Connie G. Dodd said, “TESDA is very fortunate to accidentally stumble upon TCL and welcome this promising partnership, which came at the most opportune time. TCL’s donation for equipment and tools to our TESDA Training Institutions will be very useful as they deliver quality TVET trainings through our community-based approach in NCR. Rest assured that we will put it to good use and will greatly benefit our intended beneficiaries. This is just a start of our lasting and exciting partnership. We look forward to more collaboration and engagement with TCL in the days to come.”
“We at TCL are always happy to give assistance to our fellow Filipinos. We always look for ways on how to help in any way we can. Through this CSR Project collaboration with TESDA, we hope that we can bring new hope to more people to uplift their livelihood. If not for the support of the people, we won’t be achieving our current standing among the subsidiaries in the region” said Brand Manager of TCL Philippines, Mr. Joseph Cernitchez.
TCL Product Manager for Washing Machine and Refrigerator, Eric Li, also said, “With this collaboration, we hope that we can inspire greatness among the TESDA training facilities and to bring forth more inspiration for everyone. Looking forward to more partnerships like this in the future.”
