Starmobile just announced the Starmobile UP Xtreme, which comes with the company’s own Xtreme Screen Technology.
Apart from withstanding daily-use scratches from coins, keys, or buttons, it also resists pressure. The Xtreme tolerates up to 30kg pressure on the screen without cracking. It also endures deliberate impact force from a fall of up to 2 meters high. That’s .4 meters higher than Gorilla Glass 5’s 1.6 meter-high impact resistance. Indeed, it also surpasses the average Filipino height of 1.62 meters.
Powered with 1GB RAM and 16GB ROM, the Starmobile UP Xtreme ships out with Android 7.0 Nougat. It also touts 8MP rear and front cameras and dual front flash for clear indoor selfies.
The Xtreme features a 2300mAh Li-ion battery lasting up to 7 hours talk time and 10.5 days on standby. Other features include dual SIM slots, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and mobile data connectivity.
