Got a bit of a hands on with Starmobile’s Diamond D1 when the company recently showcased their latest devices to the media.
The Starmobile Diamond D1 is their latest 5-inch phone available in the market and sports an above average 3000mAh battery which they claim can comfortably give you two days worth of usage on a single charge.
The Diamond D1 is marketed a relatively slim device with its 10.3mm thin profile but comparing it to the upcoming Starmobile Muse, the Diamond D1 already looks chunky. Anyway, the 5-inch display only has a 480 x 854 display resolution but is protected with a Dragontrail scratch-resistant glass. It is powered by the same 1.2GHz quad-core processor as the Starmobile Knight and has 1GB RAM plus 4GB ROM with a slot for microSD.
At the back of the Diamond D1 is a slightly protruding 12-megapixel BSI camera with flash while an 8-megapixel BSI camera is manning the front.
This phone also supports dual 3G SIM cards. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and supports OTA (over-the-air) software updates. It also has Starmobile Sync which allows you to quickly transfer Contacts, Messages, Calendar, and other data from your old phone of any brand to the Diamond D1 via Bluetooth.
The Starmobile Diamond D1 is already available for just Php7,990.
