On Spotify’s end, the company will pay less for UMG royalty fees, according to various sources. Thus, the agreement with UMG might even result in similar deals from other major lables, like Sony Music Group and Warner Music Group. With this recent development, Spotify Premium might become an enticing subscription for music lovers.
Spotify currently offers affordable monthly and yearly subscriptions for Filipino customers. First, the yearly subscription costs PHP 1,548, while monthly subscriptions vary. Meanwhile, the single-person Premium account will cost PHP 139/month. For those looking to share accounts, the Spotify Premium for Family service costs PHP 194/month.
