The Sony F8331 may enter the market soon as the Xperia XR. For now, though, it seems that a leaked render of the device has surfaced.
Leak Details
While this is not an official render of the device, the render source @onleaks has garnered a reputation of obtaining smartphone schematics early. Other than that, the color itself does not seem to be final, but the design will likely be similar.
According to the render and the source, the Xperia XR will likely be around five inches. Previous leaks indicate that a USB Type-C charging port and a dual-LED flash will be used. Fortunately, classic Sony elements like heavy bezels and a dedicated camera button point to this render probably being legit. Word has yet to come on what the rear build material will be.
This leaked render, however, suggests that the Xperia XR might employ a plastic or polycarbonate build. Other speculations include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 3 GB of RAM, a 23-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 13-megapixel selfie camera.
As more official details get announced, all Sony fans can do is wait.
