Yesterday, Sony launched their Xperia neo L which is the successor to one of its value phone from last year, the Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V.
First and foremost, the new Sony Xperia neo L looks just like a larger version of the neo V. It has the same chunky but curvy body with tapered edges on top and the bottom. It also retains the slim physical buttons below the screen, a deviation from the touchscreen buttons of today’s Xperia phones.
The Xperia neo L gets a display upgrade from the previous version. It now has a large 4-inch display as compared to the previous 3.7-inch. It still has the same 5-megapixel camera at the back without Sony’s Exmor R lens that they’ve been including in their premium phones.
Powering the Xperia neo L is the same single-core 1GHz processor found in the previous version. However, this phone has Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich right off the box. Internal storage and RAM is still the same at 1GB and 512MB respectively, with microSD support. One feature that Sony highlights on this phone is their xLOUD Sony audio technology to deliver crisp and loud sound from its speakers.
The Sony Xperia neo L will be available in black or white colors for Php12,490 by July 21. Still the same attractive price that made the old Xperia neo popular last year.
