Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited (SCEH) Singapore Branch today announced the PlayStation 4 System Software Update v1.70
The PS4 system software update v1.7 brings a number of new features to the PlayStation4 console including HD streaming via Twitch, SHAREFactory and Remote Play. Check out below for the list of new features that comes with the PS4 System Software Update v1.7
| Streaming | Picture quality of videos broadcasted via Ustream and Twitch can now be set to Maximum HD. Broadcasted videos can be save (archived) on online streaming platforms |
| SHAREfactory | SHAREfactory download link icon is now displayed on the Home screen. Comments, stickers can now be added to video clips saved on PS4. Background music and background of videos can also be changed |
| Settings | HDCP signal can be switched off and gameplay recording via HDMI is now made possible |
| PlayStation Store | You can now Pre-order games and content on the PS Store. Pre order will be automatically downloaded to “Your Primary PS4”. Countdown until release day is displayed showing when the content will be downloaded and installed |
| Remote Play | Remote Play of PS4 on PS Vita TV is now made possible |

Together with the update, SONY has also announced new titles including MLB 14 The Show and Murdered: Soul Suspect for PS4. Below is a list of the new game titles and its release dates.
