Sony added an impressive addition to their full-frame mirrorless camera lineup with the Sony a7R III and the FE 24-105mm F4 G OSS Standard Zoom.
As image processing power and efficiency moves forward, the new Sony a7R III combines top-notch features with a compact, lightweight body. This results in a versatile and reliable tool for photographers, videographers, and multimedia creators. Additionally, the 35mm full-frame, 42-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor makes use of a gapless on-chip lens design and AR coating. This works on top of the sensor’s seal glass. A Strong But Lightweight Lens
Sony also launched the new FE 24-105mm F4 G OSS lens which delivers excellent corner-to-corner sharpness . Of course, the high image quality works due to an advanced optical design featuring four aspherical lens elements. Two of these, in fact, are high precission AA lenses. Plus, three strategically-located ED glass elements help minimise chromatic abberation, or simply put, faded or ‘dead’ colors.
The lens also has Sony’s original Nano AR coating to minimize flare and ghosting. On top of that, it utilises a circular aperture to ensure it delivers a consistent bokeh effect for all of Sony’s G series.
