Smart Communications, Inc opens pre-orders for the second-generation iPhone SE.
Customers can now start pre-ordering their iPhone SE smartphones at any Smart Store nationwide until July 14. Powered by the same A13 Bionic chipset found on the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro, the new iPhone SE provides the same flagship performance at a more compact packaging.
Available in black, white, and red variants, the 2020 iPhone SE features 4.7-inch Retina HD display, and an aerospace-grade aluminum body. For photography, it has a 12MP f/1.8 wide-angle rear camera with OIS and up to 5x digital zoom. For selfies the iPhone SE uses a 7MP f/2.2 front camera with Retina Flash and 1080p / 30fps HD video recording capability. Both the front and back cameras feature Portrait Mode and Portrait Lighting effects.
The latest iPhone SE moreover can charge wirelessly using Qi-certified chargers and can charge up to 50 percent in just 30 minutes. The device is also IP67 rated and can be submerged in water up to 1 meter depth for 30 minutes.
The new iPhone SE will be available in the Philippines starting July 14.
