SM Supermalls made major gaming history on August 12th. This was when they celebrated the Nationwide Pokemon Go Lure Party, from 5 PM to 9 PM in 50 SM malls across the country. This is the inaugural event, and as with all ‘firsts’, the Lure Party was set off in bombastic fashion.

Smart had two promos for the event. These were the free access for Smart users using Pokemon Go, and three cinema passes for every Smart Bro 888 purchase. On the other hand McDonalds launched a Buy 1 Take 1 promo for the McFloat at their SM branches.
All in all, SM’s Nationwide Pokémon Go Lure Party exposed shoppers to a day full of amazing attractions and engaging activities. Mascots representing Pokemon and cosplayers walked around the mall to entertain customers. Meanwhile, certain SM branches even had Pokemon collectibles and Pokemon Go goodies for the trainers who attended. On top of that, several SM’s even had their own promos to reveal that were exclusive to their location.
But it doesn’t end there! SM eventually extended the lure party for certain SM locations. This allowed local cbletting it last until the weekend, on August 13 and 14.
