SanDisk introduced yesterday three new Mobile Memory Solutions that help consumers to keep up with the demands of today’s mobile-centric world. Among them includes the iXpand for iPhone and iPad, a USB 3.0 OTG flash drive for Android devices, and what is touted to be the world’s first USB-C flash drive.
Built with a lightning port alongside a USB connector, the iXpand has 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities and is compatible with iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone, iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPad mini running iOS 7 and later. It is a simple-to-use solution that quickly transfers photos, videos, contacts, and other files from an iPhone or iPad to a Mac or PC “” all without cables, Internet connections, or bandwidth limitations and not sacrificing media quality. It retails for Php 3,800, Php 5,500, Php8,000 and P12,000 for each of the capacities listed earlier.
The new SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive 3.0 for Android smartphones and tablets, on the other hand, has an improved connection speed as it sports the latest USB 3.0 for faster file transfers of up to 130MB/s while keeping its OTG capabilities, sports a retractable design for easy usability, as well as a longer microUSB connector to accommodate device cases or port covers. Available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage options, the SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive 3.0 can be bought for Php 699 up to Php 699,Php 1,299 and Php 2,299, respectively.
Last but not the least, SanDisk introduced what it touts to be the world’s first dual flash drive with USB Type C. This would prove to be compatible with some of the latest devices that sport the new USB standard such as the 2015 Apple Macbook. Aside from that, it also includes a USB 3.0 stick on the other side for easier transfer between devices bearing two different USB types. Available solely at a 32GB capacity, the SanDisk Dual USB Drive with Type C connector features a two-year warranty and is priced at Php 4,199.
