Although known worldwide for their premium Android smartphones, Samsung remains a major creator of clamshell flip phones, particularly the upcoming Samsung W2018.
Its latest clamshell model, known as the Samsung W2018 became surrounded by numerous rumors until this week. Recently, a leaked video might give us a first look at the device in action. Appearing on Chinese social media site Weibo, nobody knows where the video-maker got the W2018. Regardless, it appears that this flip phone carries over current Samsung design ideas.

For example, it features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner beside the camera sensor. From what we know so far, the W2018 should feature a 4.2-inch 1080p AMOLED display. Specs-wise, expect a Snapdragon 835 chipset, 6GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage. The cameras might feature a 5-megapixel front camera and a 12-megapixel rear shooter. This will all run on a 2,300 mAh battery, with an Android Nougat OS. Some say that it will allow for wireless charging.
