Yesterday, Samsung announced a new line of 14-inch laptops powered by Intel Core processors. Aside from that, they also did a refresh on the N150 and N220 10-inch netbooks that made their debut just last March.
So what’s new with the N150 and N220 aside from appending the word “œPlus”?
For the Samsung N150 Plus, the same processor, Intel Atom N450 (1.66GHz), was used. The only thing modified was the 10-inch glossy screen now being of matte type for better viewing under bright lights. Also, the hard disk was upgraded from 160GB to 250GB and new colors were added. Price is still the same at Php21,900.
For the Samsung N220 Plus, they upgraded the processor with an Intel Atom N470 (1.83GHz) and hard disk was also bumped to 250GB from 160GB. A non-gloss anti-reflective LED is also used here. You can still enjoy the Phoenix Hyperspaceâ„¢ “œInstant ON” feature that was available with the old N220. Price is still the same at Php24,900.
Even though the battery for both models did not change, you can expect a slight increase in battery life with the inclusion of Samsung’s proprietary Enhanced Battery Life Solution.
