Samsung has officially announced that it will be hosting the Unpacked 2018 event this coming August 9. Tracing tradition, the South Korean smartphone giant launches a new model under their Galaxy Note lineup every Unpacked event, so it’s most likely that we’ll be meeting the Galaxy Note 9 in August.
Samsung has posted a 23-seconder teaser video on their website which shows the Note series trademark S Pen in a striking color of lime green.
Reports say that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 might look the same as its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. This means that the Galaxy Note 9 should have the same size with the same Infinity Display, plus similar Bixby functions. Since it’s a flagship smartphone, it’s likely to have a dual rear camera setup, although it might not have the current trend of in-display fingerprint sensor.
What Samsung might have improved with the Galaxy Note 9 should have something to do with its S Pen because it is what’s highlighted on its teaser video.
Stay tuned as we all wait for the global unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 at the Unpacked event at Barclays Center in New York City.
