Samsung has snatched the spotlight from Apple as it bagged another recognition for its topnotch Galaxy flagship.
The Displaymate’s “Best Performing Smartphone Display” award has found its way back to Samsung through its Galaxy S9. The device also received DisplayMate’s highest ever A+ grade.
The Korean company’s flagship smartphone defeated iPhone X given its impressive display performance records.

It also lauded Samsung’s move to focus on “significantly enhancing and optimizing the on-screen Absolute Picture Quality and Absolute Color Accuracy of the OLED display by implementing precision factory display calibration, moving the overall Galaxy S9 display performance up to outstanding levels.”
Displaymate’s report said the Galaxy S9 also set new display performance records, such as “Absolute Color Accuracy that is Visually Indistinguishable From Perfect, and almost certainly considerably better than your existing Smartphone, living room 4K Ultra or HDTV, Tablet, Laptop, and computer monitor based on our detailed Lab measurements.”
