Samsung announced on their IT Press Launch yesterday their upcoming SyncMaster PX2370 23″ LED Monitor which includes features that every gamer or photographer/videographer would want in an ultra-slim package.
Complete sRGB support
The Samsung PX2370 comes with complete sRGB support that would appeal to photographers who need the consistent colors they see on their digital cameras translated to their monitor. You don’t have to rely on chunky CRTs or color calibration tools anymore to produce the correct color profile.
2ms video response time
Gamers will rejoice as they could enjoy the fast 2ms video response time of the PX2370. No more blurring and ghosting as newer games demand faster response time from your monitor.
Couple it with the vibrant color display of an LED monitor and you want to be playing games all day with this baby.
Power-saving and Stylish
Being an LED monitor, the PX2370 will really save you costs in electricity (Samsung claims it can go down by as much as 40%) in the long run compared with your traditional LCD monitors. On standby, it requires less than 0.3W as opposed to the typical 1W of other monitors.
The PX2370 is also one of the stylish monitors out there. It features a finger-slim 16.5mm profile which would look really good anywhere you put it. Did you notice its cool-looking glass frame?
Specs:
- 5,000,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio (Static Contrast Ratio 1000:1)
- 2ms (GTG) video response time
- sRGB support
- Analog RGB/DVI/HDMI inputs
- 1,920×1,080-pixel resolution
The Samsung SyncMaster PX2370 will be available this March for Php18,000. Only a 23″ model for now but expect smaller sizes in the upcoming months.

where can i buy one? please advise.
inches of the monitor???????
I’m planning to get this one. They say that when you hook this one up on a console via the HDMI port, the color gets washed-out. (Link related)

Some say it’s because of the pixel-mapping, some say it’s because of the hdmi cable. Makes me sort of insecure about the buy.
Any thoughts on this?
