With the growing popularity of mobile payment services, tech giant Samsung has announced the Samsung Pay Mini app. This dedicated app allows users to make online purchases through it.
This is not Samsungs first mobile payment app however. The Samsung Pay was the first, and allows users to pay in stores for goods and services. This feature however wont be available for Pay Mini as it is intended for online purchases. However, unlike the Samsung Pay the Samsung Pay Mini will not be exclusive to Samsung Galaxy devices. Set to be available for download in the play store, Samsung Pay mini will be available for Android devices. Specifically, Android 5.0 Lollipop devices and higher or HD phones whose resolution is 1280×720.
Samsung announced that they will do a trial for the app making it available in South Korea this month. After this a world wide launch date will be announced.
