Samsung bends the competition with the new CH711 Quantum Dot curved monitor. Designed with gamers in mind, this monitor comes 27- and 31.5-inch variations, with an early 2017 commercial release.
The curved monitor features 1,800R curvature and an ultrawide 178-degree viewing angle. From this alone we can infer that the CH711 makes content clearly visible regardless of production quality. Other specs for this ergonomic screen feature a 125 percent sRGB color coverage and 2,560 x 1,440 WQHD resolution. To put it simply, the CH711 sets a new standard for detailed color appearance at any distance. You could be lounging in your favorite gaming chair, close to the TV, or on a couch at a certain distance and the output would still be good.
Finally, the CH711’s chic, sophisticated 360-degree design complements any backdrop. It boasts a clean, white chassis as well as a gorgeous three-sided Boundless design. Note that the applied neatly hides its power and HDMI cables out of sight inside the stand’s neck, giving it an organized vibe.
There will be a CH711 exhibit at Samsung Electronics’ booth at CES 2017.
