The Samsung Galaxy S7 wasn’t the sole handset that the South Korean company unveiled today, it shared the limelight with its curved-display sibling, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
The first noticeable improvement on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge compared to the older model is the screen size. From 5.1-inch on the Galaxy S6, the new Galaxy S7 now boasts a 5.5-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED panel with a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 laid on top of it.
Moreover, the Galaxy S7 Edge offers an improved Edge UX, providing easy access and shortcuts to email, messages and other applications.
The camera setup of the Galaxy S7 Edge is similar to the ones found on the Galaxy S7. This include a new 12-megapixel image sensor with dual-pixel technology paired to an f/1.7 lens.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has an SRP of Php 39,990 in the Philippines and will be available on the same date as the Galaxy S7.
