Samsung today unveiled the Gear S2 in the Philippines. The Tizen OS-powered smartwatch features a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display and a stainless steel body, highlighted by a rotating bezel control for navigation. Suited for both right-handed and left-handed users, the Gear S2 provides access to notifications and messages, and offers a rich app ecosystem.
The smart wearable is available in two variants – Gear S2 and Gear S2 Classic. With a trendy design, the Gear S2 is fitted for active users and makes a good companion when working out. The Gear S2 Classic on the other hand has a primmer look. Both the Gear S2 and Gear S2 Classic offer interchangeable wrists straps to complement the user’s mood and outfit.
Only 500 units of the Gear S2 will be available for pre-order from November 6 to 13. The Samsung Gear S2 is priced at Php 13,490 while the Gear S2 Classic will retail for Php 15,490. The Gear S2 will be available at Samsung stores starting November 14.
