Samsung first introduced the Galaxy Note series in 2011, and people have loved it since. Their own market research shows that 85% of Note users are proud to show off their device. A majority of users even said that it’s the best phone they have ever had. This kind of appreciation for their work drove Samsung to design a better and bolder edition of the Galaxy Note. Now, we get to see their completed work as the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was just announced in the Philippines.

At 6.3 inches, the Note 8’s Quad HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display gives you a lot of space to work with. Despite it’s size though it is still comfortable to hold, thanks to it’s narrow body. Multi Window is a popular feature of the Note series as it allow for great multitasking. Samsung adds to that with the new App Pair feature, allowing you to easily launch two apps simultaneously.
Another signature feature of the Note series is the S-Pen. With the Note 8, the improved S Pen has a finer tip and improved pressure sensitivity for a superior stylus experience. It also has new features for a better Galaxy Note experience. For example, with the S-Pen, users can take up to a hundred pages of notes on the Always-On-Display screen off memo. The improved S-Pen moreover has a new translate feature to translate not just words, but even phrases in up to 71 languages and even convert currencies by simply hovering over the words, a handy feature for those who love to travel overseas.
Samsung also intros its most most powerful smartphone camera to date with the Note 8. The phone features two 12MP rear shooters with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). One is a telephoto lens, and the other a wide-angle lens. On top of that, the phone’s cameras has some interesting features as well. The phone’s Live Focus feature allows you to adjust the bokeh effect before and after you take the photo. Dual Capture mode allows you to use both rear shooters to take a picture for two distinct images; close-up, and wide angle.
