Months after introducing the Samsung Galaxy J6 (2018) along with young star Nadine Lustre as their newest brand ambassador, Samsung Philippines is set to welcome the Galaxy J8 here in our local shores.

The Samsung Galaxy J8 will flaunt a 6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED screen in 1480 x 720 resolution with an 18:5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device will have a yet unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage that can be maximized to up to 256GB via microSD card support.
It will sport dual rear cameras composed of a 16-megapixel f/1.7 lens plus a 5-megapixel f/1.9 camera with LED flash. For its selfie camera, the Samsung Galaxy J8 will come with a 16-megapixel front snapper with f/1.9 aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy J8 will operate on an Android 8.0 OS and will run on a 3,500mAh juice.
Other important specs and hardware features include a Dual Nano SIM tray, Bluetooth 4.2, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, microUSB port, 3.5mm audio port, and device access option of a fingerprint scanner and face unlock.
The Samsung Galaxy J8 is on sale in India for INR 18,990 or around PhP 14,700. While its official pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed, the Samsung Galaxy J8 is sure to come in colors of black, purple, and gold.
