Samsung recently embraced the bezel-less design mantra with the Galaxy S8, and continues it this 2018 with the new Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8 Plus (2018).
Branded and touted by Samsung as the Infinity Display, it works and functions much like it did for the Galaxy S8. In fact, Samsung explained that they chose the Infinity Display design to accomodate a pair of cameras on the front. Furthermore, this 5.6-inch smartphone features an octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, and 32 to 64GB of internal storage. Lastly, it will rock a 3,000mAh battery, NFC capabilities, and a microSD card slot to expand the storage.
On the other hand, the Galaxy A8 Plus (2018) boasts a phablet-like size, with 6 inches of a Supr AMOLED display. In terms of specs, it will offer the same processor, but goes beyond that. In fact, it will boast 4 to 6GB RAM, up to 64GB of built-in storage, a 3,500mAh battery, and a microSD card slot to expand the initial storage space. For features, both devices will get Samsung Pay, and the Android 7.1.1. Nougat OS. Samsung expects both devices to officially launch sometime in January 2018. However, no data yet on the full specs list, pricing, or release dates.
