Samsung Electronics unveiled the latest Galaxy A series, which includes the Samsung Galaxy A7, Galaxy A5, and Galaxy A3. These refined smartphones tout a slick design, great performance and premium convenience.
Let’s look first at the 5.7 inch Samsung Galaxy A7, the largest member of the Galaxy A family.
As with the other family members, it features a metal frame and 3D glass back. It’s a design philosophy from the Samsung brand’s premium design heritage. In terms of specs, we’re looking at a 19GHz Octa Core processor that runs Android Marshmallow, as well as 3 GB RAM. One of the highlights for this model, and the Galaxy A Series in general, is its IP68 feature. IP68 means that the A7, A5, and A3 are both dustproof, and waterproof. So, feel free to take out your future Galaxy A phone anywhere, anytime, and in almost any weather!
For those concerned with the unit’s camera, anyone getting the A7 would have access to a 16-megapixel rear and front camera. This allows users to take high-quality photos as well as crisp, clear selfies. Also, no need to worry about storing photos as the A7 contains 32GB ROM. It expands to 256GB via a microSD. Even more remarkable is its fast-charging, 3,600 mAh battery that guarantees long sessions of use.
The entire Galaxy A lineup will launch first in Russia this January, with gradual expansion into other global markets (including the Philippines).
