A couple of weeks ago, Research In Motion (RIM) announced that the BlackBerry Curve 3G will make its way to the local market through formal channels. This week, their latest BlackBerry which is the Torch will make its debut in the country.
Actually, you can already buy the BlackBerry Torch in the grey market but RIM will be working with local telco providers to supply their latest BlackBerry phone. It’s not as powerful as the 1GHz processor of today’s high-end phones but its 624 MHz processor is fairly adequate to handle the typical tasks of a BlackBerry running on OS 6.0.
