Ahead of its global launch on May 31 in China, an actual photo of the upcoming flagship Xiaomi Mi 8’s as well as its retail box has been circulating online, revealing a notched display and a preview of its specs.
Based on the leaked photo of its retail box, the latest addition to the Mi line of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer will have powerful specs and features combinations of 3D facial recognition, AI-powered dual rear cameras, 20-megapixel selfie camera, dual GPS function for a more accurate location feature, Snapdragon 845 Chipset, 6GB RAM, and 64GB onboard storage.
Meanwhile, an alleged actual photo of the Xiaomi Mi 8 online suggests a notched and almost bezel-less display which might have a 6.2-inch FHD display.
Reports also suggest that the Xiaomi Mi 8 will be launched as the company’s anniversary phone as Xiaomi celebrates its 8th year in the smartphone industry.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 is reported to be priced at CNY 2,799 (around PhP 23,000) for the 6GB version and CNY 3,199 (around PhP 26,300) for the 8GB variant.
