Realme upped the ante in the smartphone imaging experience with the unveiling of the world’s first 64MP photo. This fulfills the brand’s goal to provide a quad-camera, 64MP capable smartphone by second half of the year.
The device is expected to widen creative possibilities and mobile photography experience of Realme fans worldwide.
Its first flagship product will feature the 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 recently revealed by Samsung. This cutting-edge technology improves color fidelity and light sensitivity that enables image senors to be equipped with 0.8? micrometer and smaller pixels without compromising photographic performance.
The GW1 also comes with the industry leading size of 1/1.72-inch enabling a more powerful light sensitivity as opposed to 1/2-inch. Its pixel-merging Tetracell technology and remosaic algorithm produces brighter 16MP images as well in low-light setting, even producing highly detailed 64MP shots in brighter settings.
Realme is flexing competitive devices to get a lead on the smartphone photography race. Just this second quarter, fans saw the launch of the Realme 3 Pro in the PH, a mid-range gaming phone contender with a 16MP+5MP rear camera supported by a Sony IMX 519 image sensor and a 25MP selfie shooter. It boasts two unique camera features: Chroma Boost mode for richer color presentation and Super Nightscape capable of adjusting image exposure taken under extremely dim lighting.
The first ever 64MP photo taken by Realme proves the brand’s dedication in pursuing technology development and innovation, and the addition of a quad-camera and AI imaging will further this goal. Fans can expect more surprises from Realme this second half of the year.
