Realme completes its 7 Series lineup with the introduction of the Realme 7i smartphone. The 7i joins its siblings, the Realme 7 and the Realme 7 Pro.
The Realme 7i has a price tag of P11,990 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM configuration. It is available starting October 24, 2020 at Realme stores and authorized dealers nationwide. Customers can also buy the new Realme phone on Lazada and Shopee.
This new Realme model boasts a display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also has a large capacity 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charge capabilities. But that’s not all this device has to offer. Read on to see the rest of the features and specs of this smartphone.
Design & Construction
Looking at the Realme 7i, you see a device that oozes class with its modern design. The back flaunts a two-tone gradient finish. It features the quad-camera model, rear fingerprint sensor, and minimal Realme branding. This model is available in Polar Blue and Aurora Green–both colors have a nice premium-looking appeal. And while the rear panel is made of polycarbonate, this phone doesn’t appear cheap or flimsy to hold.
In front is a large display with a hole-punch cutout. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
Going around the handset, users can see the triple SIM/SD card slot situated on the left side. On the right are the power button and the volume keys. The headphone jack, main mic, loudspeaker, and USB C port sit at the bottom of the device.
Display & Multimedia
The Realme 7i boasts a large 6.55-inch display that uses an IPS panel. The screen offers HD+ resolution at 1600 x 720pox. More impressive is the 90Hz refresh rate of the display.
The loudspeaker located at the bottom works well with the vivid screen in providing an immersive viewing experience.
Cameras
For users’ photography needs, the Realme 7i packs powerful cameras. The main camera setup has a 64MP sensor for its main shooter. It works with the 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP portrait snapper, and a 2MP macro lens.
Flip to the front and the 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor takes care of your selfies.
Performance
Under the hood, the Realme 7i houses an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Adreno 610 GPU. For memory and storage, this phone offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. The latter is still expandable via a microSD.
Powering this phone all day long and then some is a large battery with 5000mAh capacity. Moreover, the batt comes with support for 18W quick charging.
This Realme device already runs on the proprietary Realme UI, which is based on the Android 10 operating system.
