Global brand Catalyst teams up with the Power Mac Center! They both want bring an answer to outdoorsy people who want to bring along their Apple devices.
Catalyst – The Optimal Brand for Protection
Catalyst is a lifestyle accessories brand that creates products focused on the explorer in everyone. The brand launched via Kickstarter in 2011 and has since produced high-quality cases and sleeves for almost every kind of consumer.Recently, it launched in the Philippines at Power Mac Center Power Plant Mall in Makati City.
The company provides different kinds of protection like waterproof, dirt-proof, shockproof, and drop-proof cases for the iPhone 6S, 6S Plus, SE, iPad Mini 4, and iPad Pro. Cases from the Catalyst brand come from quality materials including impact resistant polycarbonate, a soft-touch rubber bumper, silicone seals, and air- and water-tight acoustic membranes. Design wise, they tout a transparent front and back, which in fact complements the device being held.
Every unit is IP-68 waterproof to 16.4 feet, or 5 meters. In addition, they’re designed to meet or exceed military norms for impacts or drop. This makes it a verstaile yet tough form of tech protection.
Also featured in the Power Mac Center launch is a special waterproof case for the Apple Watch. It features Catalyst-innovated technology as well. These include a double-sealing waterproof system and true sound acoustic membranes. Catalyst counts a tactical side button, and an innovative silicone sealing wrap into the case as well. It’s a laundry list of protective tech designed specifically by the Catalyst brand.
Finally, there’s the floating lanyard that keeps an encased device floating in water. This means that there’s a much lower chance of losing the item in the water, whether at the beach or in the pool. This lanyard can fit any wrist size and comes in a bright orange color and reflective strap to aid in visibility.
