Fans from the Philippines have been eagerly anticipating the release of Pokémon Go in the country, even going as far as downloading the app prior its official release through APK links and creating new Apple IDs. It would seem that we wouldn’t have to wait for much longer, as the game is reportedly going to be release in Europe and Asia “within a few days”.

Earlier today, servers have gone back up for a brief moment in the Philippines, only to be unavailable again a few hours later (although the app still remained unavailable for download on the Play Store and App Store). We could hope that this is a sign that Pokémon Go’s launch in the country is already being tested.
For now, everyone is encouraged to be wary about downloading the game through unverified sources, as there have been reports of malware infecting users’ smartphones. As much as we are excited, we would suggest for everyone to be little bit more patient and wait for the coming days for the game to be officially available for download in your country.
