PayMaya, a digital payment powerhouse brand, partners with Facebook to introduce a safe and effective way to pay bills, send money, and buy mobile load, using Facebook Messenger.
What started as a simple private messaging platform for Facebook, slowly became a hub for other interests. These include gaming, video and audio calls, scheduling, and now, financials. Naturally, PayMaya recognizes this and offers their digital payment services to local FB Messenger users.
“This integration with Messenger represents an exciting new way to reach the unserved and underserved people and communities in the country by making payments available via social,”
Paolo Azzola, Chief Operating Officer, PayMaya Philippines
Using this app in Messenger seems simple. First, search for @PayMayaOfficial on Messenger for Android to start the transaction. Then, the chatbot guides the user through available options. From there, PayMaya users may create an account, or link their pre-existing PayMaya wallet. Once in Messenger, users can directly send money or pay bills from there. However, if you don’t want to do that just yet, users may do other things like check their balance or buy load.
